Description

A 2D runner game for the New Zealand rock band Capital Theatre. The game features the first two songs from their debut album "Hero's Journey" — "Fait Accompli" and "People". The development of the game was necessary for the album promotion, so the graphics and music were chosen to match the style of the music videos planned to be released with the new album.

Music Visualization

In the project, all levels are designed to match the musical tracks. When the music is calm, the location and biome through which the main character runs are monotonous and match the mood of the music.

As soon as the bridge or chorus begins, the location becomes dynamic and spectacular. For example, the ground might start shaking, meteors might fall, explosions might occur, and other visual effects enhance the musical atmosphere
